More about the Orthopaedic Device
Forum
The first meeting was held in
January of 1996 and evolved from discussions at a symposium in Chantilly, Virginia. The Orthopaedic Device Forum has been active in
addressing a number of regulatory matters of significance to orthopaedics.
The Orthopaedic Device Forum was
established to permit regularly scheduled interactions among representatives of the
scientific and clinical Orthopaedic Community, the FDA and other governmental agencies,
and representatives of the industry related to musculoskeletal health and diseases. Such interactions are consistent with the intent
of federal law.
Meetings are held quarterly in
Rockville, MD. If you have any questions or
comments, contact Katherine Sale at sale@aaos.org
or 847/384-4327.
